Many events all year round in Diano Marina.
In recent years artistic, sport and popular events represent a strong attraction for tourists and residents.
In addition to the patron festivals celebrated with great solemnity in the parishes of the various centres of the area, with processions often accompanied by the Band of Comune, the religious festivities of most interest are the "Corpus Domini" in June, the "Madonna del Carmine" in mid-July, the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in August.
The solemnity of Corpus Domini was established in 1246. By the time the liturgical solemnity and folklore were intertwined, the procession has been enhanced with a beautiful floral frame, in fact a copious amount of flower petals is chromatically put on beautiful carpets in the streets.
Equally dramatic is the evening of 15th August, the Feast of the Sea with myriads of lights floating on Dianese sea.
In honor of the Madonna del Carmine there is in the evening an emotional fireworks show that creates striking effects on the bay illuminated by thousands of colored lights.
By long tradition and popularity is the remarkable "Dianese Carnival" held the Sunday following the Shrove Tuesday.
